Wild Things

A flowering plant grows in the cracks of a path
I've come to the conclusion that most of what I've put in my garden, I've seen when I've been out and about. Plants are memories of place, colour and smell, I'm a terrible seed collector. Always walking round with pockets full of fluff and dessicated seed pods. I also love, the insects, birds and mammals and don't forget mushrooms. Spiders I still love but hate at the same time. I like to think about foraging things too.

Walking gives you a great deal of opportunity to experience what Attenborough would call 'nature's spectacle'. The downside is that much of what I see, I experience on my own. All I am able to do is share it here, for memories sake or in the hope that someone else might have the opportunity also.
